Pipe Fire Test System
Pipe Fire Test System is applied for testing the fire resistance of pipes and accessories with a nominal diameter of DN600 or less. This system observes the continuous tightness of the pipe fittings after applying fire to the pipe fittings for a period of time, even when it is under test pressure.
Standard:
GB/T 22218-2008 / ISO 19921: 2005 Ship and offshore technology test method for fire resistance of metal pipeline accessories equipped with elastic seals;
GB/T 22219-2008 / ISO 19922: 2005 Ship and offshore technology fire resistance test bench requirements for metal pipeline accessories equipped with elastic seals;
GB/T 21477-2008 / ISO 15540: 1999 Test method for fire resistance of marine and offshore technical hose assemblies;
GB/T 21476-2008/ ISO 15541: 1999 Fire resistance test bench requirements for ship and offshore technology hose assemblies;
Other standards.
Technical Parameters:
Gas: Propane with a purity of not less than 95% (bring your own);
Specifications of test piece pipe fittings: length not less than 500mm;
The flame height of the special combustion nozzle is adjustable, the combustion angle is adjustable, and automatic ignition can be realized. The position between each blowtorch is adjustable, the flame size is adjustable, and the burning time can be set at will.
Booster device: Test the inlet water temperature and outlet water temperature to monitor the water flow in real time, the water pressure is adjustable, and the inlet water pressure inside the pipeline is controllable;
The test chamber is made of stainless steel.
The main components of the equipment are:
This system is made of high-quality stainless steel materials. It consists of a booster pump, water inlet flow meter, water pressure gauge, flow regulating valve, stop valve, drain pipe, combustion test chamber, 6 sets of combustion blowtorches (including blowtorch platform, combustion height adjustment device, automatic ignition device), and exhaust system , internal pipeline overpressure relief protection device and electrical control part. The combustion test chamber, exhaust system, and internal piping are all made of SUS304 stainless steel.
Testing Method:
Before the test, ignite the blowtorch, adjust the gas flow to an appropriate value, and use a thermocouple to check the flame intensity of the blowtorch at this time.
Test method 1: When the test piece is in the open state, open the water supply valve, stop valve, and exhaust valve to supply water to the system. In order to discharge the air in the test piece as much as possible, the test piece must be flushed for at least 1 minute to completely eliminate the air in the pipeline. After the system is filled with water, pressurize the system with water to the test allowable working pressure, ignite the blowtorch, adjust the blowtorch flame, and place the flame at the horizontal center of the specimen after stabilizing it. Heat the specimen for 30 minutes. After the time is up, inspect the specimen to withstand the test. Whether it remains tight under pressure. When a certain test piece fails, the test should be repeated on two test pieces with the same nominal diameter as the unqualified test piece. When the test is repeated, if one test piece fails, the hose assembly used for the test is deemed to have failed.
Test method two: When the sample is in a partially open state, open the water supply valve, stop valve, and exhaust valve to supply water to the system and remove the air in the pipeline. When the system is filled with water, close the stop valve, exhaust valve, and water supply valve. Pressurize the system with water to the allowable working pressure of the test, ignite the blowtorch, adjust the flame of the blowtorch, and place it at the horizontal center of the test piece after stabilizing the flame. Heat the test piece for 30 minutes. After the time is up, the test piece evaluation method is the same as above. During the test process, the temperatures at the water inlet and outlet are displayed and recorded in real time.
