Small Punch Test Device
The SPT (small punch test) technology is used to predict the remaining life of industrial equipment and assess the structural integrity. Its characteristics are that only a small amount of material needs to be taken from the surface of the equipment as a sample, and then the elastic modulus, yield strength, plasticity, tensile strength, tough-brittle transition temperature, fracture toughness, creep properties and viscoplastic properties of the in-service material and the degree of damage can be calculated by computer software using a small punch test, thereby providing a reliable basis for the remaining life prediction and integrity assessment of the structure. In addition, the sampling and testing of this technology are quite simple and easy, and there is no need to repair the equipment after the specimen is sampled.
The hydraulic expansion micro-specimen test technology is based on the small punch technology and draws on the principle of bursting discs. It uses hydraulic loading to pressurize the circular thin discs and records the load-deflection curve and deformation parameters of the bursting specimens during the test, thereby correlating the conventional part energy parameters. Compared with the small punch technology, the hydraulic expansion technology has the advantages of uniform specimen loading, which is convenient for theoretical analysis and is not affected by factors such as eccentricity and friction.
The new micro-sample technology - small punch test method is a "non-destructive" "sampling" test and safety assessment of in-service equipment. At present, the development of small punch test technology in the United States and Japan has been relatively mature, and research in China has just started. The hydraulic expansion micro-specimen test equipment consists of two modes:
1. Static pressure blasting mode: first circulate the high-temperature heat transfer oil, and after the temperature of the workpiece rises to the set temperature, use the booster cylinder to blast the workpiece at a uniform speed. Tooling: Meet the test requirements of diameter (p=10.0mm, thickness T=0.5mm, 316 stainless steel material, edge fixing method and other specifications of the product related tooling can be customized according to actual requirements. Deformation measurement: 1) Use laser ranging to measure the change of the center point; 2) Use an electronic micrometer to measure the change of the center point.
2. Fatigue test mode: Fatigue test is performed on the workpiece, and the workpiece is maintained at a constant temperature.
Main features of the equipment:
The whole set of equipment adopts computer plus PLC automatic control, and all tests and monitoring can be completed on the computer. The electrical part complies with the electrical industry standards, adopts well-known brand computer design and sampling board, the data is true and reliable, and the control performance is stable.
The system is equipped with a leakage alarm system. When a serious leakage occurs, the system automatically shuts down and releases the pressure. The electrical components are imported components, which ensure the accuracy and stability of the test machine from the control principle and the quality of the electrical components. Servo control is adopted, and the parameters can be set by computer, which improves the humanization of the test operation. The high-temperature pulse generator is adopted, which has a fast response and no resistance, ensuring accurate pressure conversion. Automatically output the time-pressure curve.
The medium closed circulation system uses heating wire heating to ensure that the medium temperature is within a safe range, ensuring the test medium inlet temperature and circulation efficiency. The test chamber is equipped with LED lighting and electromagnetic locks. The door is locked during the experiment to improve the observability of the experiment process and personnel safety. The control system uses Advantech industrial computer and acquisition card, Siemens PLC to ensure the stability and response rate of the control system. The system consists of a two-level control system of computer and PLC control unit. The upper computer mainly completes graphics processing, data processing, and data management, and the lower computer completes the test process according to the instructions of the upper computer.
