Measuring Loop Device

The measurement loop is the main means to simulate extreme environments in the laboratory, such as nuclear power plants, steam pipelines, deep sea applications, etc. and ensure the reproducibility and validity of test conditions and measurement results.

The measuring loop provides:

Monitor and control dissolved oxygen, dissolved gas, pH and conductivity in the measured solution to simulate the pure water environment of a nuclear reactor;

Purification of the measuring medium by ion exchange, UV irradiation and activated carbon filtration;

Use a large amount of circulating medium to offset the influence of corrosion products on the measurement results;

Tailor-made and unique design to meet the special technical requirements of users.

The measurement loop uses modern water chemistry technology to simulate the pure water test conditions of the nuclear power plant environment. In the operation of boiling water reactor reactors and supercritical water devices, the control of dissolved oxygen concentration and the maintenance of low conductivity are crucial. The loop is monitored in real time at the inlet and outlet to remove impurities in the pure water.

In the oil and gas industry, the measurement loop uses the Big Star to measure the solution through the solution to maintain the stability of the solution concentration. The gas is decomposed in a low-temperature storage tank and high-pressure H2S and CO2 are obtained at high temperatures to simulate the extreme environment of stable H2S and CO2. The system provides a steam cycle measurement loop in high-pressure and negative-pressure environments to simulate various environments in steam turbine generators. The system's measurement loop uses a material that is resistant to H2S and CO2 gases, using Hastelloy C-276.
