Main features of the hydrogenation kettle: magnetic coupling mechanical seal, both intermittent and continuous can be customized combined self-priming agitator, high hydrogen dispersion efficiency, large gas-liquid contact area, fully suspended solid catalyst, bottom gas distributor (can selection), high heating/cooling efficiency.

Essenton's Instruments Main Configuration of some flat cover catalytic hydrogenation reactors:

Volume (L): 5-30000L (both pilot and production models can be customized)

Working pressure (MPa): 0-15MPa

Working temperature (℃): 0-350

Stirring speed (r/min): 0-750

Motor power (kW): 1.1 - 5.5


Heating method: thermal oil or electric heating

Kettle material: S30408 (304), S31603 (316L), S32168 (321), titanium (TA2), nickel, zirconium, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy (C-276, C22), internal spray PTFE, lined with PTFE, tantalum, etc.

Motor: Explosion-proof motor or explosion-proof inverter motor can be configured according to actual experiments and production needs.

Discharging method: upper discharging by default, lower discharging is also possible. It can also be equipped with a ball valve or an upward-expanding bottom material valve according to requirements

Sealing method: high-efficiency zero-leakage magnetic coupling seal


Kettle lid openings: gas phase port (equipped with needle valve), liquid phase port (equipped with needle valve and bottom tube inserted in the kettle), temperature measurement and control port (equipped with platinum resistor), pressure gauge safety blasting port (equipped with pressure gauge safety valve or Rupture disc), inlet and outlet of the cooling coil in the kettle (water distribution nozzle). In addition, sampling ports, distillation ports, solid ports, vacuum ports, etc. can also be installed according to actual production and experimental needs.


Mixing Type: propeller type, paddle type, anchor type, turbine type, self-priming type, etc. The appropriate mixing paddle type should be selected according to the process requirements.


Controller: Equipped with PID PLC intelligent controller (stepless/variable frequency speed regulation, motor current display, temperature display control). In addition, if there are special process requirements, the control program can be customized according to the actual situation, and the data can be viewed and exported.


Optional modules: condensation reflux device, vacuum distillation device, lipidation device, pressurized feeding device, pressurized sampling device, vacuum device, circulation heating device, etc. If there are special needs, customized modules can be processed according to actual requirements.
